Our microscopes are equipped with two wide-field eyepieces (10X + 25X), a customize 2X barlow lens, with achromatic objective lens (4X, 10X, 40X), provides 12 magnifications of 40 /100 /400 /100 /250 /1000 /80 / 200/ 800/ 200/ 500/ 2000X.

When using for the first time, use low magnification make it easier to focus and see a more complete contour. after focusing, observe at a higher magnification.

You can use the phone mount adapter we provide to take pictures / videos of your observations and share them with your friends and family.

OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Step1: Connect the microscope to a power source. you can use the AC adapter, or put in two AA batteries (not included).
  • Step2: Mount the specimen on the stage. but before that, make sure your specimen is adequately protected by placing a coverslip on top of it.
  • Step3: Rotate the objective lens, you can choose 4x, 10x and 40x (recommended to start with 4x).
  • Step4: Use the metal clips to keep the slides in place. then move to ensures that the specimen is centered, just below the objective.
  • Step5: Look into the eyepiece and focus, at first turn the coarse adjustment knob to focus. Do not let the slider touch the objective.
  • Step6: Adjust the light source. the upper and lower light sources can be turned on to adjust the lighting brightness. you may not need too much brightness at low magnifications.
  • Step7: Look into the eyepiece and, as the view is nearly clear, slowly turn the fine-adjustment knob until you get a clearer image of the sample.
  • Step8: Mount your phone to the ocular and take photos/videos, you can switch to higher magnification and focus again.
  • Step9: Change specimen to observe, we come with many different prepared slides, you can also make your own samples (leaves, blood, sperm, dog poop, etc.)
  • Step10: Share with your family, kids and friends leave precious memories.

HOW TO CLEAN THE MICROSCOPE

  • Wipe method:

first remove the dust on the lens surface with a cleaning cloth or a blower. then use a clean flannel to make a spiral unidirectional motion from the center of the lens to the edge. after wiping once, change the flannel and wipe it again until it is clean.

If there are oil stains, dirt or fingerprints on the lens that cannot be wiped off, you can use a willow branch wrapped in absorbent cotton, dipped in a small amount of alcohol and ether mixture (80% alcohol, 20% ether) to wipe.

The surface of the lens has a layer of violet-blue light-transmitting film, it’s normal and do not wipe it off by mistake.

  • Wipe Range:

eyepieces and condensers are allowed to be disassembled for wiping. due to the complex structure of the objective lens, special instruments are needed to calibrate it to restore the original accuracy, so it is strictly forbidden to disassemble and wipe.
